"They do not try to do too much or impress listeners with over produced tracks. They simply make relatable music that connects with any age.” -Ear To The Ground Music

Toronto-based trio The Mooks combine their jangly power pop sound with spirited melodies and enduring structures to recall a myriad of influences, taking nods from bygone-era rhythm and blues to gleaming indie rock. Members include: Mookie Morris (vocals/guitar), Owen Norquay (bass) and Luis Figueroa (drums).

In 2018 the group independently released their debut EP ‘Singles’ on June 1, recorded at Candle Recording and produced by Ewan Kay in Toronto. After a slew of local appearances (including spots at Canadian Music Week & Indie Week), the group has cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting, up and coming acts out of Toronto.

Over the summer of 2018, the group recorded their second album, with Juno winner Calvin Hartwick at Dream House Studios, slated for release in 2019. Stay tuned.
